Arctic is an Alaska Native-owned tour company with offices in Anchorage, and the
village of Kotzebue, 26 miles north of the Arctic Circle. Tour Arctic will take
you to a world steeped in Alaska Native culture, history and tradition. You will
see Native life, unfold in its simple daily rhythm. Watch
villagers catch, clean and prepare fresh Alaska salmon, pick berries or prepare
meat for the winter season, depending on when you visit. Tour
Arctic's Culture Camp will expose you to the traditional ways that are being passed
down from Elder to youth, mother to daughter and father to son as they cut and
prepare fish or sew skins and furs together for clothing. Participate
in a traditional blanket toss or stroll through the delicate tundra. At
Tour Arctic, we believe that to share our tradition is to participate in the education
and understanding of all cultures. We invite you to our home on the edge of the
world-north of the Arctic Circle, in the Land of the Midnight Sun.
